It takes special people to maintain the collection. It is impressive that Porsche honor their history.

Hi! I'm a Potomac member came here from e-Brake News. One thing I'd love to see in PCA videos - so often linked from the newsletter - is KZbin chapter markers. For example, if a particular car in this video didn't interest me, it would be great to skip to be able to skip the next car. (I generally avoid clicking video links, but every now and then I give it a shot and try to skim through one that looks especially interesting!)

I need to borrow one of those 959s. There are several in there, probably won’t miss it.

Vu, I'm going to have to kidnap you and hold you for ransom until you disclose the "super secret location". I spied that prototype 928 with the updated front lighting package. Is it for sale, lol? Great video! Thanks, and hope you are well. Jack

Any thoughts ever to putting together a “pilgrimage” to Germany to visit Zuffenhausen and Weissach? The kind of “inside” access you had is almost priceless. One, I bet it would sell out faster than a Treffen. 😜 Two, it would be a trip of a lifetime for enthusiasts. 👍 Since it’s my idea, I get right of first refusal. Happy to sign any non-disclosure and put down any vital organ as a deposit. Sign me up!

hahaha. That is surely a great idea. We appreciate you sharing it with us. Will certainly pass forward it up the chain.

So did they cover your head with a hood and transport you to "the secret location" in a blacked out van?
@PorscheClubofAmerica2 жыл бұрын
They did...well not exactly. They had us sign an NDA.

I beg you make those videos longer, more thorough. You have hours & hours of material standing in front of you. Even those transaxles, what was that weird thing without tail lights.... I would hold on to that host and ask about everything. Ask about maintenance, even simple stuff like oil change, what do they use, how often is it changed, it's 800 cars that are mostly standing still.

Unfortunately we were there for a 45 minute tour and instead broke off after 15 minutes to squeeze in this quick video for everyone. Hopefully we'll go back in the future and get some detailed stories of a few more cars.

@@PorscheClubofAmerica I understand, maybe send Nathan Merz, he discusses those cars in great detail.

What a Disappointing video. “Here’s a virtually untouched 993 with an amazing story” Sorry you don’t get to hear the story…ever.

Unfortunately, we were there for just a 45 minute tour. Instead of taking the entire tour, we broke off for 30 minutes to squeeze this video in. Hopefully we can go back for more details.
