Those mini lobster are called crawfish crawdads crayfish mudbugs. You can trap about 100 of them boil them up in old bay seasoning douse them with Louisiana hot sauce throw in some corncobs eat the tails suck the head them are some good eating. Watch a KZbin video on how to consume crawdads

I reckon the local council should pay you for cleaning up the canal! I found something heavy in a local lagoon yesterday but my magnet isn't big enough to get it out. Going back with my grandson tomorrow to see if we can get it with both our magnets on it!
