6) She is a 'boss' woman, A-type personality; 7) She can't commit to and work on a relationship; jumps from relationship to relationship rather than put in the work to save the one she's already in

The point you make from jumping from relationship to relationship is 100% valid

8) I would also add she has an obsessive need to be 'strong and independent,' especially if her mother neglected her or abandoned her. She's closed off and some even have a hard time accepting help or asking for help. Dismissive avoidant attachment style.

Christian, you have shed the light on a very serious topic that nobody ever talks about. Everyone talks about daddy issues but this is even more important and the signs can be way more clear early on in any relationship. I appreciate each and every video you post. Thank you!!

I don’t know about the Tom boy thing. I think some girls just like an edgier look. Just like there are straight men who are interested in design.

I definitely have mommy issues. I was a tomboy till maybe 11 and have presented feminine ever since. I’m a woman who’s mother groomed her to lie and cover up her infidelities to my dad by the age of 8. I trust other women. She destroyed my trust while demanding undying loyalty from me. I realize my mom was f*cked up and I’m in therapy to undo all those trauma responses. All of my friends are women. My mother has in recent times tried to make me her friend because she cannot keep any. My bf has loved me through resolving these issues and we have a very happy relationship. I struggle with femininity I attribute that to having to move out at 17 and joining the army. A woman can absolutely love someone and respect the hell out of her man without being fully in love with herself. It is something she needs to work on but it is possible. I strive to be nothing like my mother in the way she treated and used people, but I absolutely learned from the few positives she had. People, yes even women, are still capable of growing, loving and being loved. They can also do all of those things with or without religion. I’m not atheist, but I don’t consider nor practice religion.

Much appreciated. Thank you for honoring my request. This helped an extreme amount. Wish I knew this before I “wasted” two years with this woman. I definitely appreciate it.

So what orphans ( mommy + daddy issues combo) suppose to do-stay single forever for their own and others sake? Option two would be to find another orphan to date ? I admit, growing up I wanted a family, children , but after becoming a mother and being miserable in it, it put me off for life for traditional house wife lifestyle-it bores me so much and feel like I am out of my element and trapped in a wrong world. I am not into career and don’t resent man or women. I have forgiven my parents, but even with no heard feelings left for them, I still don’t have a base for traditional man and woman relationships. I have been co-parenting with my ex for 3 years now and I am so scared to start new relationships so have been single for a while. I don’t want to go out there and mess up myself and the other person again and most importantly create another child who will most likely be damaged because of my own unresolved issues.

It’s too late. My cousin has a toxic mother who always argues with her dad and insulting her dad. She grew up with that situation and now she’s almost 35, she’s very successful herself but she never dated any guys. She told me she only wants to focus on career and die alone because she doesn’t want a family. That’s how much her mom hurts her.
