I adore how the ending shows the movement from wanting to "watch" the universe expand (while observing from the outside - you're not even observing earth from the outside, but the very universe that holds earth and everything else - you're just that outside of it all) to the end, where you finally find a reason to allow yourself to become vulnerable, to let go, and then, surprise! You find you're a part of the world you've always been observing - living a life within it, feeling emotions, etc - and now you can "feel" the universe expand, because you're a part of the universe, and your shift in consciousness and position from observer, to participant, is, in part, what assisted in the universe's expansion. You've added to the heartbeat count, to the exhales that come with each day, and minute, and second lived, and in the hope felt for and by humanity. You're no longer a mere observer. This Type 5 thanks you for this. It's beautiful. :)

Even as a Two, I think this (or Eight, now) might be my favorite Enneagram song. Maybe it's the instrumentals that sandwich the song; I absolutely LOVE 5/4 time. And the chord progressions are absolute perfection. It also helped me to understand a type that I generally have a lot of difficulty relating to, so thank you Ryan for this masterpiece!

Funny, I got Five on the test but I like the songs "Two" and "One" better in terms of the general vibe they were going for. Now, I relate to the song "Five" the most but I also relate to "One" a bit. I think if I was a little different, I would have ended up being an One. Probably if I was more ambitious.

I'm a nine, I think, but I have a LOT of five in me. This... This right here has me actually crying. I'll be honest, with the impact this one has made, I'm scared of listening to nine. So excited for it, but terrified at the same time. Because of the affect this one has on me. It feels like me. Pure, unadulterated me. I avoided listening to it for so long. I'm a 4w5, and I feel so at peace with 4 enneagram song and this one ^^ To me, I don't even have to close my eyes, thoughout this song I feel like my heart is flying, and I see mountains at the pinkish-orange sky of the sunset... after that everything lifts, and I'm in space, floating as countless stars fly beside my very eyes... I see colours of all kind, mostly cool hues, with a gentle, warm yellow... Ah, I feel like I'm at where I should be.

Is this played with a violin I love violins and I’m a type 5 the melody is perfect to my ears and I love the lyrics talking about how he wants to break the universe into pieces to understand and put it all back together again. I love how it talks about being at peace with understanding the existence of humans and him saying how he is hypnotized by this anomaly saying that he wants to explore the wonders of the world and why everything is so strange to him.
