For the roast potatoes, don't use waxy potatoes (the ones that stay really firm) use a floury potato like Maris Piper or Queens they flake more and crisp up perfectly with a lovely soft centre

I don’t par boil potatoes first. There’s no need! I just put the chips etc straight into the oven and they cook very nicely without boiling first.

Potato salad looks deadly. Definitely having it and maybe sprinkle some crispy bacon over it. Yum!
