In the tropics everyone has fresh vegetables at home. In India in particular, most homes do not have a fridge.

The frozen vegetables are cut and par boiled , so you can skip the chopping and boiling step. I make mix veg with frozen veg without thawing them. If you thaw yey lose thier crunch
