You will definitely enjoy the food, the beach, and other entertainment provided by the tourist organizers on this island. As Jay mentioned, this tourist spot has attracted people from many countries, and no one has yet complained. I'm not sure what the Italians say about the Venice theme recreated here.

Sheer luxury as a resort hotel! One sad thing: this tourist spot in Phu Quoc doesn't seem to improve the lives of local people on this island. Nevertheless, there is a lot of enjoyment around the resort areas which you don't show in this clip.

My wife went to phu quoc Island bout 10 years ago. An it was a quiet little island she said no vinwonders or Venice ways. Excited bout going there. Different from New Zealand thats where we are from.

Depend on whom , lot benefit from the tourist boom in Phu Quoc ( those that have land are now seat on gold mine ) for young folk they doesn't need to be a fisherman or go to mainland to work anymore ( now can work at resort/hotel ) some local benefit from being food seller or other stuff , but like any development there will always be folk that lose ( old poor people will still be poor and it will made they life harder as food and other stuff price increase and because of they age they will have hard time to find job ) but the younger folk sure benefit from the booming of Phu Quoc.
