I have the Trailcross . I ride mostly XC and flat trail . Very comfortable and supportive while providing excellent breathability. Toe protection isn't as hard as the Pro - so just keep that in mind if using for downhill. I am very satisfied with this shoe

I got the Freerider Pro last year and they do feel a bit generic in quality and definitely the shoelaces. I've seen some people mentioning that quality has dropped after Adidas bought the company and I can understand that now after having some personal experience with these shoes. Of course this will depend on how hard you are on your gear, but it is worth mentioning because that is something these shoes are supposed to tackle - riding hard.
