Love the idea for a story mode. Imagine a game like gta where you can "get out of the kart" and explore a world mario oddessy style with races scattered over cities. Wishful thinking I'd imagine

@TheAgingGamer unfortunately doubt Nintendo feels the same way. They re-released a wii u game for full price, and it still sells like hotcakes. They make dlc packs for a 10+ year old game and it sells like hotcakes. Not sure why Nintendo would feel the need to innovate this money printing machine, but I think even a little would do the series well as I feel like the series is reaching a point of stagnation for longtime gamers. As a first mario kart, it's great. But we should want more at this point.

I think it should have characters from all over similar to Smash Bros. The Coin Shop would be a great idea, as long as they don’t give a real money option for it
