Does this need to ever be recalibrated during it's lifetime? I'd like to purchase it because it's a cheaper option but I don't want to have to buy tools to calibrate it.

Hi there, The BW Icon has a fixed 2-year lifetime meaning it does not require calibration every 6 months. However, you can calibrate this monitor every 6 months to ensure compliance and it should still be bump tested before each day's use. Frontline Safety are fully trained on calibrating BW products - if you don't wish to service the monitor yourself we can do this for you.
