The Honeywell BW™ Solo is an easy to use single-gas detector with simple, one-button operation. There are 14 different sensor options available for this unit including Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), Carbon monoxide (CO), Oxygen (O2), Sulfur dioxide (SO2), and Hydrogen (H2), as well as other common and exotic gases. The BW™ Solo is also compatible with the BW™ 1-Series sensor for CO, H2S and O2 which delivers faster response, reliable performance, and longer life even in extreme environments. These sensors come with a 3-year warranty.
The unit is easy to service yourself. There is no need to take apart the Solo to replace components. To change out the sensor filters, just pop off a door on the front of the detector - no screwdriver required. Sensor and battery replacement are also easy. There is no need to disassemble the detector to replace the sensor - simply take the old sensor out and drop the new one in.
The BW™ Solo also includes Bluetooth connectivity on select models, allowing for wireless setup and data transfer from the unit. When you pair the Honeywell BW™ Solo with a smartphone, you can use the free Device Configurator app to set up the detector, choose alarm set points and more, all from up to 6 meters away using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Users can also use the app to see the readings from a calibration along with who performed it, when and with what gas - and email a certificate to stakeholders. Then, when it's time to export data, you can also share the detector’s gas data with the desktop software wirelessly via Bluetooth.
