I’ve watched you on both platforms, but mostly KZbin. I believe KZbin, allows you to get to know the person, Instagram only allows you to see a glimpse of person. I prefer to get know the person! I agree with all of your points. I’ve purchased your e-book, bought jewelry and clothing from websites you’ve mentioned, recommended your podcast to others, and researched other topics all because of your YT videos. I really appreciate medium and long form content as it allows me to get to see a creator over a longer period of time instead of snippets. And it’s easier to go back and review older videos, which I appreciate. I do wish that YT did a better job of recommending similar creators or topics based on who/what you’re subscribed to. Thank you for all the work that you do, especially deinfluencing us.

Thanks so much for this Tashira. I’ve been contemplating starting a KZbin channel. I still have lots of research and work to do before I take the leap. I couldn’t agree more about IG being a play to pay. Once you play the game they bombard you with ads and incentives to boost more and more of your content. My views are not as high as they once were. However I’m still posting almost daily. I’ve reverted back and forth between reels and photos. Your content is always on point and your fashion is impeccable and relatable. It's so interesting to hear your take on this because even when it was new, I could not get into IG and you hit it right on the head why! It feels too brief and impersonal but is so wildly additive to scroll through. I rarely post on IG but recently began posting on my KZbin channel again about my overseas living journey since this is the space I have always loved to partake in for content anyway. I so appreciate your analysis on how KZbin is truly a place to get thorough information as well as truly grow if it's a desire to create content. In about a month of posting, I am getting so much feedback and actually feeling like I am cultivating a community and that is such a great feeling to be on a platform where I am actually seen.
