And I actually preordered Elite 11 (in college which means no money days) and when WalMart told me the game was delayed I went to NHL . I've always said that Live 06 on 360 was the beginning of the end for Live. Compare that to 2K6 on 360 and it was night and day. Then when 2K7 dropped with the signature styles, updated franchise mode and revamped 24/7 mode it was up and stuck. Live never fully recovered from that. Live 10 was good but 2K10 was far better and it wasn't even close.

NBA Elite 11 did actually come out, but only on PS3 with a limited 2,000 copies. A mobile version of NBA Elite 11 came out and was shut down when NBA Live 14 came out. Fuck NBA Elite 11!

EA fucked up by allowing Tiburon to take over development of the game with elite 11. The analog stick mechanic they tried was a cool idea at the time but definitely not implemented properly. How dare you strip everything from Live '10 to develop an entire new game. That's the one thing EA gets props for. They take risk. 2k doesn't....they've been giving us the same game for 9 years now.
