Can someone explain the heave-ho + flame thrower problem at 1:04? I've never seen this crash / know what causes it but find it interesting that it's a known "don't combine these things", and that getting burned prevented the crash(?) The more I watch I think it's actually just having too many objects at once (like when he points out it probably wouldn't crash if there was 1 flamethrower instead of 3), but still curious in case it's something more.

It's mostly the triple flame thrower hogging the (might be wrong term) "entity limit" of (I think) 256. Even just 1 of them can be resource intensive, but that statue shoots 3 simultaneously while having a lot of the other stuff still loaded.

@@SimpleFlips i dont think there's an "official" term for it, although technically the standard term is object, not entity. i'd imagine people would call it "object slot limit" or smth like that. also, at least in vanilla sm64, in theory the limit is 240, but for some reason it varies from stage to stage (always at most 240)
