Carr wasn't the answer for us tbh, he's a solid guy who can play great some weeks and good more often than not typically, but we needed a full rebuild to land a generational guy. Unfortunately instead of doing that and getting a guy like Williams, Stroud, Maye, this year or last we tried to win with a HC who never done it away from Bellicheck, even as an OC with STL, who didn't even construct the roster and wasn't a reason anyone was there unless they were on the East Coast 2 weeks before. It was a grasp at straws to compete that only the Knicks, that I can think of, have actually tried to do in American pro sports

I've been a die hard raiders fan for 30 years. Outside of 2002, the last real Gannon year, the 2021 team had my favorite group of players to watch. Maxx Crosby and Darren Waller in particular were energizing to me due to their history of overcoming addiction. I knew when McDaniels was hired, the fun would be sucked out of everything. I was there when he was in Denver. It was even more depressing than I expected. And now we don't even have Carr anymore to provide the faint hope that we could compete any given Sunday. Mark Davis is not his dad. Thank God this nightmare is over

The most honest and accurate appraisal of the Raiders situation and Mc🤡 yet. He may have won things as a coordinator in New England but as a head coach and exemplified by his tenure in Donkey country, he will never be a head coach as long as he breaths. Bisaccia and Jack Del Rio were the two coaches who came closest and stood a chance of winning the big prize, Mc 🤡 will not last in Vegas.

This video laid it all out for anyone who never knew these facts. I hated this hire when it happened and was warned by several bronco fans. I knew Mark Davis pulled another idiotic move like usual. The most important thing that I saw was the chemistry they had. They played hard with good leadership and came close to the championship game. With McDaniels, there is no chemistry, and with McDaniels and Ziegler, there is no leadership, and nobody wants to play for them. The dude can't coach. He has gotten rid of the nucleus of a good team and doesn't even try to get the ball to his playmakers. There is no place for McDaniels in professional football, period.

I can't understand why they didn't keep that interim coach, can't remember his name. But with all the stuff that happened, ruggs killing that woman, arnette posting a threat online and Gruden getting fired he turned the team around and got them into the playoffs. That's amazing. He did a helluva job. And his reward? Nothing. I have empathy for the players in losing teams but the owner and gm who made those decisions should bath in the failure. They deserve it. You found a head coach and decide to move on? How dumb can you be?

He didn't turn the team around. They were 3 and 0 when the Gruden news broke, and then they lost the following game because the Gruden thing was a HUGE distraction all week. I'm not taking anything away from Rich, he did a good job holding it together, but the team had a mid-season meltdown under him and had to win the last 4 games to squeak in. Gruden was on track to return this team to greatness.
