If they don’t trade Jimmy, they will be running it back again next year. So he seems eternally committed to running this build into the ground, where it has been since we got sent packing in Denver. We need to trade Jimmy and Bam and start over with Tyler and the young guys. Get s better GM too, and build this thing from the ground up prioritizing modern concepts like size, two way ability, and athleticism…and fit. The Heat think they can ignore everything that works in favor of…I don’t even know what anymore.

It's honestly just another Tuesday for this team. This is exactly what this team is and will continue to be. Yes playoffs can be a different story, because they actually show up and compete, but once again the run will be riding on wether Jimmy can stay healthy.

Miami Heat Roster: Jimmy - $48mill - out Bam - $34mill - not playing to anywhere near that level of the cap % Tyler - $29mill - playing to that level of cap % (maybe above) Terry - $24mill - not playing to anywhere near that level of cap % Duncan - $19mill - playing to that level of cap % When 3 of your top 5 cap % guys are out or constantly not playing to their expected level that's the problem. Bam has become an enormous problem but every pod you focus on Terry (which he deserves given his cap %) and Jaime (he's on a $3.6mill rookie scale contract, he's afforded a struggle period). Every loss you let Bam skate when really he's just flat out not been good enough for a max contract franchise player and captain of the team and it needs to be called out more.

Duncan is not playing to that level. The same thinking is why this team has no POA defenders. Not a single 3pt specialist is getting paid that number in the NBA. If he was a 2 way player then yes, but bc he provides so little on defense and he’s not as good offensively has a Herro he is not performing to his contract level.

We are lucky to be a .500 team. Duncan Robinson, Highsmith, Kevin Love, Josh Richardson, Al x Burke, Rozier c’mon this ain’t a lineup getting the team anywhere. it is what it is. I don’t many other teams, if any, could make this roster work.

Thx 4 not spending 2 much time on a JB trade. That trade may have died with JB turning his ankle. Although the Heat weren't much 2 talk about over the prior 2 yrs, not helped by JB absences. This yrs new offense has self-inflicted the team's overall results. When numerous players have taken a step back, someone needs the tail pinned on him.

Bam is always getting excused for his consistently poor performances. They don't use him as a scorer, no one can pass to him in the post, he has to cover up for everyone on defence, etc. I'm so sick of this. At some point after 6 years of the same problems, you have to look at the player.

@@billyd7887he was hurt his first season. But he is cheap af, 6’10 and can shoot 3s. Dont know exactly what u would get for him. With that being said idk what they tell these dudes over the offseason but he needs to strengthen his body and prioritize better explosiveness. Well he was hurt this summer as well. The problem is Duncan and Rozier contract, none of them are expiring and they aren’t worth their contract. Terrible foresight by the FO. If they could get off one of those contracts it would help the heat a lot.
