I totally agree - I'm on the Upwork side of things (haven't "cracked" Fiverr myself - honestly could be a fun collab idea if you'd be up for that 😜) but I always say while yes ofc there's more "competition", it's not all "good competition", as many people are just putting the bare minimum effort into it. Plus, there's also a lot more clients nowadays, especially after covid - everyone and their mom has an online biz now that needs help in one way or another. It's just a matter of positioning yourself in the right way as "THE ONE" that can solve their problems!

I have a question in regards of the thumbnail of my gigs: what if i offer services or products that vary too much in themes, topics, or relevant interests? It's okay to change the format of the thumbnails, since it would be really difficult to adapt the same format for way too different gigs?

Website isn't necessary if you're only freelancing on Fiverr - if you freelance OFF of Fiverr, I recommend a website!

I wonder if it's becoming corporatized like all other businesses, and making it harder for upcoming freelancers, and only the ones who are already established can continue to profit. Hi, I'm new to Fiver and would like to go into video editing and other stuff around that. I wanted to know how I would not get scammed. As far as I know, Fiver has a 14-day policy for the buyer to say they don't like the product and request a refund. Also, if they request that they pay before hand but send the video of what I made for them, would you recommend sending a watermark version first to make sure everything is alright and getting written proof that they like it in case they scam me, to be able to show to Fiver as proof, or would I just send the full finished video without a watermark?

You both can have different account. It is just like having different works. However, you must use different Government ID. I hope this was helpful.

I would recommend setting up separate accounts, so you don't accidentally violate their Terms of Service. Or, contact their customer service department and ask, first. They can be strict!
