I'm here two years later to thank you for this video. I've made way over 20K since i've started on Fiverr, and that might not sound like much for many people, but i live in Brazil, and that is way over the average income of Brazilian people. Then, I improved my skills a little since I know what the client wants. Then, another gig with new buyer but so many revision to do it. Love your channel. Love Mango Street. I'm a photographer and videographer and I do want to point out that the profit you make (also you said 'profit' instead of 'revenue' which is what it would be if your costs aren't $0 - and I'm assuming they are not) is so marginal compared to the time you spend on your profile, vetting clients, communicating with clients, equipment, keeping your software/computer clean and up to date, subscriptions to Adobe and music licensing sites and stock footage sites. Sorry for the long sentence. If your price tag grows, yes this could be an option. It would be an option for someone in school trying to add to their portfolio. Part of me just doesn't like that it seems to draw customers that already have a low value for the services. Also, I know that smooth client systems are priceless and this just feels like it's setting newer creators up to fail. I'd love a version of Fiverr that vets it freelancers and sets them up with some systems and a minimum price tag to increase positive experiences. Keep making content like this! I'm fascinated.

yeah, i'm kind of going off the assumption that: a. already paying for adobe cloud and licensing sites b. not spending any extra money running a fiverr business but yeah, good point - i didn't really account for messaging w/ potential clients or even the hassle of dropping what you're doing to respond quickly to inquiries. i think fiverr pro may be kind of what you're describing too - it just seems like a lot of work to get there!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fiverr is great for buyers looking for the best deal. I felt like I was competing against people who charge close to nothing for their gigs.
