Currently im already top of fiverr search for my niche (youtube lol) but still can confirm the promoted gigs still help massively, helps to get orders on a specific gig if you got a cancellation or something out of your control. Im currently 550 out of 550 feedback too, so that probably helps. Great video dude!

I've been using promoted gigs for 3 months with reasonable rate per day, it didn't do much honestly, but still the amount i got from promoted order is way more than the amount i spent for the promotion, so i didn't see any reason not to use it lol

You can do it manually. I only noticed yesterday that there is now an Auto Bid option I have just turned it on for the first time.

Wrong mindset to have. Promoting your gigs wont help if you're level 1 or below. Work on organically improving your business and you will naturally reach level 2. Then you'll be in a much stronger position to start promoting

I was very fortunate to get the beta for the feature when it first came out. I think you should have the option to check anyway via the promoted gigs tab? You should have that somewhere

I'm a level 1 seller and I have promoted gig. I don't think they actually put you on top of the search. I bid for $1 for each click and I was still on the 9th page! Meantime on my other gig which I didn't promote, is on 1st page.

Yes it looks like there are many factors. You can pay to boost but also they take into account different quality metrics when deciding what to boost. I hope to make an updated video soon

can't get why you can promote a gig when you're already level 2 seller (so it means you had jobs and you earned some money) but not when you just completed 2 or 3 jobs and you try to stand out in the crowd with just a few dollars :/ :/ :/

Yeah I understand that - Level 2 is quite broad though, you have some sellers only making a few $100 a month and others making 6 figures a month. If you're a level 1 seller, or a new seller, promoting shold not be your worry. Fiverr gives enough traffic if your gigs are good enough. Work on improving the quality of your gigs and service and level 2 will come around in no time.

This fucking promoted gig system has ruined my income on my main gig. I don't get near the amount of people that I was getting before it started. It was like a cliff. Even using the free money they gave me I was not getting as many clients. And I'm a top rated seller too with hundreds of clients. It's very frustrating. I don't want to have to take risks to make money more than necessary

That sounds like something you shold take up to Fiverr customer service. I cant imagine just by signing up to promoted gigs that you would lose rankings, the opposite shold happen. Unless its a technical bug. Put in a ticket and see what they say. Let us know too! Cheers
