I volunteer at a homeless kitchen and we get loads of pumpkin pies from Sam's and Walmart after the holidays. Never a coconut cream or mincemeat pie. Now they do not offer many mincemeat BUT they are delish!!! I am sure the Costcos donate them to food banks too. Well it is a write -off. Just saying.

Hi Skyler, Daisy, Violet, Lily, Lincoln and Logan, I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 12 minutes and 33 seconds video of you all out and about. Then getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving. The McDonalds place you all went to for a yummy lunch looked so cool with all the different things that you could play on, even a wall that you could go rock climbing on and a rope that you could swing on looked like lots of great fun. What a great fun place it was for you all to run out all your wiggles on a cold and rainy day. Violet I loved the look of your brown boots you wore with your beautiful dress to McDonalds. Violet you looked very beautiful in them both. Skyler that was so nice of you to buy your family friend Mary Ellen an Aiper Robotic Pool Cleaner since you, the Quintuplets and Landon used her Pool over the very hot summer. Skyler that was so nice of Shayden to look after Violet and Daisy while you, Lily, Logan and Lincoln went food shopping at Costco. What a nice brother he is to his little sisters. Skyler that was so nice that you ran into your mum and dad while you Lily, Logan and Lincoln were shopping in Costco. Skyler your mum and dad are such lovely, nice friendly people, and they make a great looking couple. I am so glad that your mum is doing really well after her operation she had a few months ago. Lily I love that you are thankful for money, as money makes the world go around. Logan and Lincoln that is so nice of you both to say that you are Thankful for your mummy. Your mum is a pretty terrific mum to all you 5 Quintuplets and to Shayden and Landon too. Where I live here in Australia we do not celebrate Thanksgiving. I am a 51 year old woman with Autism and I am Thankful for my Health, the fresh air I breath in to keep me alive, my family, yes money, my Laptop Computer that I watch TV, miniseries, movies and all your wonderful videos on in my Bedroom, my many books I love reading, my Digital Piano, my 20 Musical Coloured Bells, my music books and CD’s and lastly I am thankful for my three Colour By Number colouring in books. If you can't find pre prepared creamed potatoes, there are instant potato mixes. Just boil water, add butter, and potatoes, stir, and serve. Not too much trouble. :-) Happy Thanksgiving Scott Family.

I am from New Zealand and I am finding it strange when people are looking to mashed potatoes at a thanks Giving. This is a very common dish in our country and not just for special occasions. Also we would make our own.

People in America make their own too, nothing new but people also use instant mashed potatoes as an easy convenience. Mashed potatoes are served as a side dish anytime but is a favorite at holidays.
