Patrick, the lead singer, is also a damned great rhythm guitar player in a surf band called The Madeira. I've only seen him live with that band, but at times his right hand pretty much "disappears" in the blur of his rhythm strumming. Great stuff with Five Year Mission, as well as with Destination: Earth!

I watch this a few times throughout the year, but it's today that it's really worth watching. Hearing this, knowing how loved by so many George is.... thinking about his childhood, and being in an internment camp.... I cry every time. George Takei is such an amazing man, especially considering the shit he was put through.
