Fix Broken Nespresso U Machine

Our nespresso u machine stopped working and we could not get a replacement part, so i make a modification to fix the problem.

C'est LA technique parfaite. perso g scié la rigole comme dans la vidéo (la partie arrière) et je l'ai fixée avec de la glue pour que l'eau s'écoule dans le bon sens. Impecable You are the best

Thanks for this. I have opened mine a few times. Usually the black spout on the front of the pump pops off and the area where it snaps on needs to be cleaned and so it can be reattached and snap on tightly. This morning it broke and I see the bottom tab has broken and the little tabs on either side of the spout have broken off. I wonder, did I drink those plastic bits? I had no idea part of the machine was moving back and forth like that. I had only taken it apart when the machine was in the closed/finished state. Hadn't plugged it in while apart to see how it moved until today. After seeing your mod, it makes me wonder why they even had the white part (that you put springs under) rock back and forth at all. I could have been more stationary like in your fix. What I couldn't figure out to follow your fix, was how you secured the springs so that they didn't move or pop out? Just for the short term, I used an elastic around where the rocking white part connects to the machine, but I imagine the heat will cause the elastic to break in time.

Brilliant solution and great video, but the broken part is now available on eBay. Seems like a common fault. Great fix on your part, though.

This is a common issue on this machine, it breaks off every 6 months or so. This solution seems much better than buying the spare part over and over, good stuff!

Hey! I fixed my problem as well. I popped my slider off though and don't know how to replace the slider and the inner spring at the top. Do you ? If so would you explain ?

Shawn B it's called the internal spring when I look at the part online. If u were to pop off the slider st the top of the machine it's underneath it . ...if you have no info that's grand. Thanks anyway

I replaced the nozzle with a new one and works fine, but some water is still dropping on the bottom cabinet. Is this normal on this machine?
