Hey dude! Just wanted to let you this this method still works in 2021. I have been having issues with chrome doing this to me. Was searching on KZbin to see how to fix and resolve this issue. I did the same thing you did in the video step by step and it clean my chrome and works again. Thanks!

I started to get status_access_violation while using Chrome. I noticed when I am watching a KZbin video while the window is maximized, it would happen more often, starting with video sound quality becoming bad and then crashing. Same was happening with Edge and Firefox. I tried all solutions but nothing seems to help. This started happening after I moved my PC parts into a new case. Not sure if that's the actual reason or coinsidence

Hey guys!! for the PEOPLE who DOESNT want your bookmarks erased completely and didn't SYNC your chrome, the part where he click "remove browser data" @2:40 DONT CHECK IT!!! click next and just erase everything else on the first part and @3:26 look for 2 folders that says "BOOKMARK" anything that says bookmark DONT CHECK IT and erase everything else and your chrome should be good with you bookmarks (^_^) and thanks this really help me out =)

Mine crashes when i have spended(? Like 1 or 2 hours. Like it stops working, it doesn't charges has fast has it should normally. Sometimes im not even using chrome and playing lol, and something goes wrong

My Chrome is randomly crashing, even when im not actively using it. If I have a large number of open tabs, they show-up in my history so I can restore all the tabs automatically when Chrome restarts. Will this installer nuke that history or can I still recover my list of open tabs?

Click the three dots on top right and then click . More tools --> extensions. Turn off unwanted extensions that are affecting the chrome.

When Google Chrome won't launch it is running elsewhere on your computer. Bring up Task Manager by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL at once . Select Task Manager You'll see the list of Programs running . STOP any processes that say CHROME. I had to stop 2 Google Chrome tasks . After stopping the activity Google Chrome launches normally..

I did It the other way. Updated from then windows because my thinking was the window's update would fix the Chrome load crashing 😭 it's going to be unusable for a while

Try running Chrome in compatibility mode as “windows 7” that could help. Although, I’m surprised you reinstalled windows and that didn’t do the trick ?
