One thing I do if my eyes look and feel tired, if I’ve been crying etc.. is take an ice cube and slowly circle it around my eyes where it’s puffy, it really helps wake them up

Lucky for you, you haven't been blessed with genetic dark circles, which makes it much simpler to keep the under-eye area looking decent, even with aging skin. You look fab! Crepey skin + deep set eyes + dark circles is no walk in the park... I'm starting to miss the days when I couldn't care less about how I looked (that was just a couple of months ago, but it seems like an eternity).

I work in retail. That's a common thing now. A lot(not all) of younger moms won't stop their kids from screaming in stores. It's like they're either afraid to discipline them and cause emotional scars(lol) or just can't be bothered. You can see it on the faces of older shoppers(genX and older) how annoyed they are with them. I've seen some moms asking their young kids permission to stop and look at certain things or ask their toddlers what they should make for dinner smh

I do love the new beauty of josean retinaldyhyde and ginseng under eye cream and mornings I use a vit k cream obviously with loads of essences. Kosas Dior are nice but the HUDA is my holy grail undereye concealer. Hope you get some rest ! 💜

Hey Sheri! I unsubscribed, then re-subscribed like you told me, and it worked! So how are you? Looking lovely as usual, I must say! I'm about two hours away from Tijuana, Mexico and getting ready to go for a road trip with my man friend who needs to get some "things" the VA won't prescribe for him - so I'm going to look for the CeraVe foaming oil cleanser. I was using the Avene Hydrance facial serum-cream, but had to return it - as much as I loved the subtle baby powder scent, it caused me to break out. And I hear that other products in the brand have that same fragrance to some degree. So I'm pretty sure I can trust the CeraVe, and if it causes irritation for me, I have a friend who can use it bc I'm certainly not going back to Mexico just to return something! Love your video - and living in a small onboard cabin has been good for you, hasn't it? Thanks for your energy, and Bon Voyage!

Yay! Glad you re-subscribed Haha! I had read somewhere that doing that fixes the issue. Not sure why but I think it's happening to a lot of people. LOL you made me giggle "some "things" the VA won't prescribe" Haha! Well you have PLENTY of affordable options in Mexico, that's for sure. Go in one of the "fancier" pharmacies that carry lots of skincare to find the CeraVe cleanser. I had to go to 5 pharmacies before I found it. Oh that's a bummer about the Avene. The ones I have are all fragrance free, I forgot to mention that. But yes some of there other skincare (that I don' t like) has way too much fragrance for my liking. The 2 creams I showed are for the most sensitive skin. Yes we are having a blast and I could stay in an even smaller room LOL minus the screaming kid next door 🤪 Have fun on your trip!

Yah that's why I prefer using it at night vs during the day. It's quite thick. That's why I like more moisturizing and "feel good" type moisturizers during the day. It's more of an eye treatment. Maybe try Beauty of Joseon Retinal Eye Serum instead. Its on Amazon or YesStyle. You can easily layer any eye cream over top of it. 🤗

I have my camera with me and a suction cup thingy to attach to the mirror. But I brought a mini ring light so it helps the lighting some. Otherwise it's pretty yellow in this room. But I think lots of people use their phone. Mine is an older Samsung because I'm too cheap to waste money on a new phone Haha! So I don't think it would look very good from my phone.

Does the Dermatology sunscreen interfere with your concealer? And do you know of other face sunscreens that won't interfere with concealer? I have the hardest time finding an eye cream that's hydrating enough that won't make my concealer cakey and so I'm scared to put my sunscreen under my eyes too. No not at all but I don't put a ton under my eyes. I like using my Colorescience 3 in 1 concealer/SPF under my eyes. I would definitely use an SPF under your eyes though and focus on moisture and hydration in the evening if you don't like the layers. Or maybe try the Vichy eye serum. It add tons of hydration, is super lightweight and doesn't interfere with spf and concealer. 🤗

Do I need an eye cream? I have more hollow under eyes with slight darkness, not bad, but I am totally self conscious about saggy eyelids, right eye more than left. My skin is so sensitive. My cheeks will get embarrassingly hot and red so easy so for now I only use vanicream cleanser, vanicream daily facial moisturizer and I took your recommendation to only add in the vanicream vitamin c for now but I did not ask about my eye issues.

Thank you. I am seeing a bit of sagging starting but I think it's from over 25 years of retin-a use (I dont use it now since I found something better) also from my growth factor serum and mostly from constant SPF use and re-application so my collagen won't break down as fast. UV breaks down collagen so fast even on cloudy days. And of course I'm sure genetics have a lot to do with it. But I don't use special devices or anything like that. They prob could help but I'm too lazy to stick with them. 🤗

I just pick a shade 1 or 2 shades lighter than my foundation and I would color correct 1st with a peach corrector or mix some orange corrector in with your concealer. 🤗 My good friend Melissa with MelissaMBeauty has lots of great videos on color correcting and dark circles. Not usually...I like watery toner like products that hydrate or have Vit C or exfoliating acid in them but I personally don't think a typical toner makes a difference. I think that was a thing back in the day when people used bar soap and cleansers that messed up the skin's ph so the toner basically helped the ph but nowadays they are so much more advanced so I'd skip ones like Sea Breeze LOL or the old kind like that. Look at the ingredients in ones you're interested in and if the toner you like is more of a hydrator with say glycerin or HA, then sure, use that before a moisturizer. And if it has actives in it then use it as your treatment step or before moisturizer. Hope that helps 💜

A human brain doesn’t fully develop until the age of 28 years old. Toddlers are not able to gracefully express their feelings. Terrible twos are nothing compared to 3 year olds. One minute they want the pink snippy cup, the next second they are pissed you gave them the pink sippy cup. Parents are burnt out and frustrated. Next time you hear a child screaming go and ask the parent if they help of a hug. Parenting takes a lot of patience and kindness and guidance. There is never any down time. Have some compassion. Ask them if they need a cup of coffee because more then likely they got less sleep then you did

I never had children. That was my choice. I'm thinking they most likely made the choice to have children. Sometimes I need a hug too. Lol 💜 But I get ya. And I do have compassion for people. It was really just said lighthearted since you could hear the loud screams thru the camera. It's not that serious. I also try to not make excuses for everyone's behavior. Because everyones sleep is important. But I also do try to show grace. They were also on a cruise ship so they had plenty of people getting free coffee for them. 🤗 ☕️

Good point. We thought about that. But it didn't seem like that type of noise. But ya never know. The kid seemed like more of a loud kid just always wanting his own way and screaming at every little thing. In the halls, in the dining room, lobby, etc. Running up and down hallways etc. Grabbing stuff out of people's hands etc. But very true, never know in this crazy world.

I am 45 and the other day someone told me I look 25. I was sipping a cuppa tea and almost chocked 🤣. I understand each to their own, however I am a Tretinoin addict. So much so that I use Tretinoin all over my body except my shaving zones. I do not believe that you need to spend $$$ in order to get results and all my products are drugstore and cruelty free. I love both Bioderma and Cerave because they exclusively cater for damaged skin barrier and all their research goes on it. I use Ordinary because you can pick and choose the ingredients based on your needs. However I spent most of my coins on high technology Australian sunscreens with SPF 50+. Tretinoin is a miracle drug and "can be" your best friend if you condition your skin first. I personally used to use Retinol for years before I ever thought of Tretinoin. Even then it was a complete shock to my skin when I started with low grade Tretinoin. Nowadays there are so much info about how go reduce skin irritations. One of them is contact therapy. That is you apply Tretinoin for sometime and wash it off completely before going with your usual skincare. The aim is to gradually and gently build up tolerance with Tretinoin. Its been 3 years since I have been on 0.1% Tret. Some days I just apply Tretinoin straight on my damp face and body and go to bed and nothing else 🤣. Ofcourse I never forget my SPF50+ in the morning.
