I had problems with random phantom XBox 360 controllers regularly appearing in Steam when using my XBox One controller, which buggered up the controller and made it really intermittent. Fixed that by blacklisting the 360 controller hardware/vendor in the Steam config file.

Two questions i need help with please! Using aethersx2 -Playing on a new Macbook m1 pro and its working great except for on GRAN TURISMO 3 & 4. It runs every track that's in the day time great on 4k but every night track it can't run the entire lap even set to ps2 native resolution and everything else on minimum settings without bogging to 70-80% play speed in 4/5 areas of the track. -2nd, using an xbox series x controller and it works great except the triggers for throttle and brake have like 1/4th the total stroke to reach max brake/accel. ex, you try to gently roll on the throttle to 25% on the trigger and its full throttle already, same with brakes and I cant figure out if there's a way to adjust scaling or sensitivity on just the triggers, looks like its for the sticks only. thanks!

It boggles my mind that the Series controller has such a hard time connecting to stuff, when the 360 and One controllers seemed to work effortlessly on everything you throw at it. Im not just talking about Mac, but Ive had trouble with several things, the most odd being my Steam Link box from Valve.

Might I suggest the absolute BEST controller for M1 Macs (It uses lightning adapter to charge), SteelSeries Nimbus+ Wireless Gaming Controller which Apple itself sells. This solved almost every single problem I had with controllers. Although your video is excellent I wonder if this software induces any lag into the equation ???

It was possible before to sync a wiimote with a M1 Mac via Bluetooth but something broke since the latest OS and now you can’t sync it anymore, it’s been a year already. People say it works if you plug a usb Bluetooth receiver instead of using the embedded receiver on the mac.

Soooo i'm running Shadow of the Tomb Raider in Whisky and no matter what i do (including disabling all controllers in Control Panel for the bottle, killing all bottles and restarting, etc.) the game still sees the controller as a controller. It doesn't allow keyboard commands to therefore let Enjoyable make this experience... enjoyable. HELP!

When playing hollow knight on the mac with the ps5 dualsense with enjoyable, the controller keeps disconnecting randomly even when it is charging. The controller is fine when playing on a console though.

I plan to play Shenmue 1, 2 emulated. I was thinking of buying: Xbox Series X DualSense Dualshock 4 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g Bluetooth made for the Switch but works on Windows too, does not have gyros but has Hal Effect FlyDigi Vader 3 Pro which has Hall Effect and gyros but official works on iOS official (described by a KZbinr reviewer as close to perfect) Gulikit KingKong Pro 2 which has Hall Effect but no gyros Gulikit KK3 Max which has Hall Effect and gyros (successor of their KingKong Pro 2) Does Enjoyble make any gamepad from any brand work 100% (except for games that need to use a multi-touch screen of the DualSense and Dualshock 4) If it works on Windows 11 that's a bonus. Thank you so much for your tutorial. It was hectic to find a way to use a controller on Macbook playing Overcooked 2. I have contacted the developers of the game, my game controller customer support, read tons of steam community and reddit to find a way but none really works. My controller is Gamesir T4 Pro and after rebinding it using Enjoyable i was able to play Overcooked 2 on macbook. The game was the only one that won't work no matter what methods i try. Other games work on macbook and steam but somehow overcooked 2 is a different story. Anyways thanks for the guide

If you still have this issue, the solution is, once your controller can be used as a keyboard (ie if you set up triangle to be "a", you can type 'a' using the triangle) you need to make sure that your controller is deactivating in steam and that when you launch overcooked it isn't recognised. Then map it to the correct keyboard keys to be able to play the game and you are all set. Since there is a glitch with overcooked, if it recognises your controller, it's game over... But if you are just using your controller as a way to activate some keyboard keys, it works perfectly! PS: I would recommend avoiding the regular keys used in the game as it got a bit messy...(it seemed to activate some shortcuts by accident...) Instead put all the controls(chopping picking up etc..) on random letters.

How to assign the left and right sticks in Enjoyable so that there is smoothness? If I assign it to buttons, then there is no smoothness; even a slight turn of the stick reacts as 100%. It's impossible to play Call of Duty like that, for example.

Andrew, you could assign those buttons directly from the controller as long as enjoyable is already enabled, no need to look for the keyboard mapping. And i found a bug with enjoyable and rpcs3, avoid mapping enjoyable to the keyboard's arrow keys, they tend to mess with the emulator top menus and that puts the game screen on the background, stopping the controller until you click on the screen again

Hello, could someone provide answers? I'm trying to play assetto corsa with the Logitech F310 gamepad but my controller can only connect to my mac with directinput only, and the problem here is that directinput doesn't allow my triggers to be accurate and instead acts as a normal button. The only way to have my triggers working normally is to use xinput but I can't find anyway to have xinput connect to my mac. I've tried installing the 360controller driver but it's outdated and doesn't support sonoma. Is there no hope?

My controller disconnects even with steam on or for a second it didn’t recognize it then it paired without me entering Bluetooth options on Mac. It keeps turning off even while I’m playing a game and the screen turns off too I think I know there’s a way to fix that but I have to find it I don’t think it will turn off the screen unless I’m in parallels but the controller seems to be malfunctioning with the Mac mini
