Can you use a regular heavy duty cord for the 5 speed clippers as opposed to the replacements with the box ?

Hey! No you cannot. Sorry for the late reply, I am getting used to KZbin comments hahah, but that box is what controls the clipper. It's how they make it so lite weight by putting some of the controls inside that box =]
