It's 1:30 AM on christmas and I'm trying to figure out how to get her logged in and NOTHING works... until I found this video. Identity Provider cannot be downloaded. Even the link opens Microsoft Store to a product with no download button.

1:56 'Xbox Live Auth Manager' said it had stopped, so I right clicked and hit 'restart'. It didn't fix the problem. Then I right clicked it again, hit 'stop', and after it did its thing, I right clicked it again and hit 'start'. Now it's working. I hope this helps. The new update seems to have broken a lot of peoples login authorization protocols.

After months of scouring the internet for an answer, I gave up after un- and reinstalling. But after trying your solution, it finally worked! I am so glad you posted this, never felt happier to hit that thumbs-up! Unfortunately, with the reinstall I mentioned, the world I made with my best friend was lost, and I dont know how to recover it. If it isnt too much trouble, could you help me with this, too? Is the world stored in a seperate folder, and can I import it back into my functioning Minecraft?

If you downloaded your data before uninstalling it there should be a Minecraft folder on your computer somewhere. I don’t quite remember where I found it but if you search for it, you’ll most likely be able to find it.

I've only ever found the standard solutions like "reinstall app", "repair Microsoft Store", "use a different launcher", etc. All didn't help. No matter what I googled, I always ended up with these same standard solutions. I've been doubting my sanity. i still can't sign in , i've downloaded the identity provider but it didn't do anything . I tried the second method but when i search the "services.mnc" it says windows can't find the files , my issue is when i click sign in a gray box appears for less than one second and then dissapear , no connecting message or anything i was able to sign in before but it suddenly logged me out and now I can't play it . I've also redownloaded mc a few times and it still won't let me sign in can you help?
