This exact scenario happened to us today and finally I googled I 20 codes and your video popped up. I did exactly what you said and how you did it and it’s working great. Thank you so much for this handy video great job!!!

This worked for me too! I ended up carefully removing the sensor, and then tapped it against the sink in between rinses. A surprising amount of gunk came out!

This was so HELPFUL! Had this for a week the i20 code. The repairman wanted to charge me for a brand new sensor and/or water pressure. Even told him about the code. Didn't bother to take in my feedback. Decided to do another Google search. Saw your KZbin video and got my dishwasher working again! Thanks for putting this out, vs having the repairmen try to scam me😅

Going to try this, I've had the i20 code for 3 months, had service come in and tell me its my drains, nothing wrong with the dishwasher. And now I'm getting the i10 code. Thanks so much for this :)

This worked great! Note that you access the pressure sensor from the side of the dishwasher, I thought it was the rear. For the water I put down some paper towels.

Thank you for this video! Totally fixed my problem and saved me a service call!!! My model is a bit different, so the switch is in a different place and looks a bit differently, but it is obvious what the switch is when you look for it. Not really much down there to get confused with, so viewers shouldn’t be intimidated by trying this fix themselves.

Thank you for your video. I tried this and although it did not work it helped me eliminate an option for my i20 error. We ended up replacing the AIR GAP (bought on amazon) device that plastic pieces that was causing insufficient flow thus causing the i20 error. Wanted to share in case anyone else is have these errors are trying the process of eliminate method.

Great tip! The instruction sheet for installing shows a graphic for the i10 BUT I cannot make heads or tails out of what it's showing. I think to make sure the water supply is turned on... Anyway, that sensor is a lot easier to clean if you remove the connector on the end then you can hold it over the sink to rinse it out really well. Keep making vids!

!! WARNING !! she broke the plastic tab that holds the pressure sensor on when she pulled it off. On the bottom side of the switch is a plastic "U" style clip that clips it to the drain bowel. If you break that tab your sensor will leak and fill your drip pan causing new errors. Make sure to position a flat head screw driver under that clip and very lightly pry it off while pulling back on the sensor. Hope this saves a few people from breaking that clip.

How do you reconnect the side panel? The hose on the far right has become disconnected. Where does this reconnect? Thanks
@kbee332 жыл бұрын
Were there screws that you removed from the side panel? I’m not sure about the hose. Sorry. I don’t know much about these appliances except what I posted. Perhaps the hose pressure fits into the receptacle it came out of. To find out where it came out of, you could try this - find your appliance’s model number and look online for the manual for the company name and model number. There are lots of manuals online as long as you have the right info to look it up. Good luck!

I ended up pulling my fridgidaire out completely, checked the sensor cleaned it out and it wasn't that dirty, found that my drain hose was completely clogged from grease buildup not allowing ay water to pass through, so replaced drain hose and mine is back to normal!
@christineheinaranta8353 Жыл бұрын
There’s an easier way to clean this without pulling out the dishwasher. You remove the filter and grate in the bottom. Clean them. The lower bowl of where the filter came out of has two holes on the left, the smaller lower one is what you want. Don’t push into that hole, but rather pull from it, i used a bendable straw which fit perfectly. Make sure you have something to spit into though cause you’re likely to suck a 2” slime string out. Make sure you don’t leave the debris in the bottom. Then replace your cleaned filters. I also ran a normal cycle with an Afresh tablet. Good as new, no more code i20.

I hate this dishwasher, so sensitive and fragile, you need to clean or replace the sensors every 3-6 months 😫
@torresdelpaine8888 Жыл бұрын
Not sure if your dishwasher is still running without issue. Looks like this video was taken about 2 years ago now. One other thing that I think you should do is to clean not only the sensor, but the sensor's passage into the bottom of the dishwasher on the inside. Did some searching around, and it looks like you can pull the filters out of the bottom inside of the dishwasher, and the sensor passage (meaning the circular hole) can be accessed from the bottom inside of the dishwasher, as well as the outside (like in your video). Sure you cleaned the sensor, but I think your job would have been better had you taken the extra step to make sure that the sensor's passage into the dishwasher was also cleaned out. Obviously, the sensor got dirty from food sourced from inside the dishwasher, so clean things a little better by making sure all food particles are cleaned out all the way to the inside of the dishwasher. That's all. Thanks for posting the video.

That’s a good idea - thanks for sharing!

@@kbee33 Can you indicate whether your repair held up over the past two years, or if you have had more problems, or had to do this cleanout again?

We actually ended up getting a new dishwasher about a year ago because of a different error/malfunction. Unfortunately I don’t remember the specifics but I think it wasn’t draining properly.

@@kbee33 smart, that dishwasher is a piece of crap. Dishes come out dirtier than when they went in. Constantly fighting the black stuff on the drawers etc.
