Fix For Openshot Video Editor And Other Appimages Not Working On Debian And Ubuntu.

When I updated Debian I found that Openshot Video Editor which I installed as an Appimage no longer worked on my Mate Desktop. Although it did work on both the Gnome and KDE desktop which I have on my other 2 laptops that also run Debian 12. Some Appimages depend on libfuse2 which is not installed by default on Ubuntu or Debian. So you need to install this in order for Openshot and some other Appimages that depend on it to work. I found out how to do this from Its Foss. Their post on their website here:

I am using Kazam Screen Recorder with Guvcview. That way I can record my screen and the image of myself at the same time. Simple but it works well.

I haven’t tried to use appimage in Linux Mint but this is useful info just in case.

I think the problem is in the newer versions of Ubuntu and Debian. Other users on here have said that they could not get Appimages to work in Ubuntu 24.04. Yet the fix seems to be just to install one program file which should have been installed automatically but it's not. yet you can install it yourself.
