Thanks for this video! I had to have the windshield replaced in our ‘21 Y and it took out autopilot, cruise and the right rear view camera. Tried simple recalibration in the service menu but that did nothing. Scheduled service and then found your video. Fixed everything in less than 5 minutes! You’re a life saver. 😎👊

Thank you so much for uploading this video! I called Tesla support, but they couldn't figure out the issue after an hour. Days later, they ran a diagnostic test but still couldn't figure it out. They wanted me to bring in my car, which would have wasted even more time. This resolved my issue in less than a minute

Thank you for this! I've been having this problem and I noticed that software updates always fix it so Ive been trying to figure out how I can reset the ECU myself instead of going to Tesla service every time or waiting for the next update. This wont void the warranty though?

2016 model S doesn’t have Driver Assist in Service Mode or camera option. Service settings alerts or software reinstall etc not driver assist anywhere Any thoughts?

Andy, in your own situation, did you have the right turn camera showing blank screen while the right turn signal is initiated? Also, did you first place the car in park before proceeding with the resets? At the end of your step by step procedure, you mentioned to have the car placed in park. Thank you for the video!

What happens or changes when you reset the DAS on a Tesla model S? Does it wipe everything away and you loose contacts etc. or does it just tries to fix the autopilot and cruise control malfunctions? Basically what happens entirely when you go into the software and reset DAS?

It didn't work on my car. Model X90D AP3 features are not available, the dot is red. Tesla service calibrated it for 4 hours but could not do repair it. I had to pay about $160 to be told they couldn't fix it. They think I need to replace the radar. I bought a new radar at a price of 300 USD and installed it, but it did not improve. Now I can take it again for radar calibration. :-( The autopilot function always became faulty when I drove in heavy rain. does anyone have a solution for this?

I just got my 2020 m3 my auto pilot works but i get these errors that i cant use it a lot of the time and i have eap but it still says 93% until smart summon gets done so maybe that will do it? And it dosent stop on stop signs

My 2023 M3 cameras seem to have stopped working, tried to recalibrate them, but was not successful. Had an in-home appt which did not resolve problem. Really disappointed - car is less than 2 months old. Hard to believe I spent this much money on a new car and have such a dud. No autopilot, cruise (also paid for the mythical FSD because I'm an idiot). My old car worked perfectly but the new M3 is not a complete car.

same happened by me. Left side repeater camera not loading, and as a consequence all auto-pilot features are disabled! Three month to wait before Tesla service have new parts. All the more irritating, that the part is for sale on EBay, just a click away. But I`m not keen on dismantlig these parts on a pretty new car!.

I get this before or after Supercharging. My hunch is it's an ECU overheating issue: the heat generated by pre-heating or heating generated during the Supercharging session is somehow making its way to the ECU, which then errors out. Thanks for the workaround.

So I did this and it worked for about an hour. Then the cat had a freak out and it all the cameras stopped working. So annoying. I rebooted the car so hopefully that will take care of it. The weird thing is that my auto drive works at night. It’s just the daytime that it has issues
