FIX for the UConnect Theater Remote Locked While in Rear Media - Workaround to Fix the Issue

The front screen controls for UConnect Theater can sometimes become locked out with a message displayed reading "Remote Locked While in Rear Media". In this video I'll demonstrate a workaround or fix that should resolve this issue whenever it occurs.

Thanks for the video.I think you're on to something. I get this often, it's very annoying. This just happened right now, my screen locked when I was on the way to dropped the kids off at school. After i got back in my van, maybe 10 minutes, and started the engine, screen still said locked. I just sat, in park, here for maybe a minute or two and it unlocked. I usually just turn on the car and drive. I think this may work. I will continue to try this too. Thanks again

Do you have to be in Drive for this to work? What if you leave it in park, but running, for 20 min?

How do you prevent it from happening in the first place? We are usually watching DVDs. Would it help to turn it off and switch to USB or something before turning off the car?

Honestly, I don't know how to stop it from happening, I just know that this method in my video gets me out of it consistently.
