How to Fix Play Store Error
If you get google play store insufficient storage error while trying to download apps then the first thing what you have to check if there is at least some space left in your android device.
Go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and go to “Device care”.
Go to “Storage”.
Check if there is any space left in your device or not.
Also tap on “clean now” to remove unnecessary files so that you can at least add some space to your android device.
The other thing what you can do is to remove the cache files and data of your Google play store.
Go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and select “Apps”.
Scroll down and select “Google play store”.
Select “Storage”.
Now select “Clear data” and then again select “OK” to clear the data.
Also select “Clear cache” to remove the cache files.
Now check if the error goes away when you try to download the apps.
The last thing what you can do is to uninstall the Google play store and bring it back to the factory version.
Go to “Settings”.
Scroll down and select “Apps”.
Scroll down and select “Google play store”.
Tap on the three dotted icons and select “uninstall updates”.
Select “OK”.
Now again go back to the Google play store.
Tap on the menu.
Select “Settings”.
Tap on Play store version.
The Google play store will start to update in the background.
Now again try to download the app and check if the insufficient storage message goes away.

Got a free phone with 16gb storage. 8 are being used for the system. So I have 8gb left. I tried to download a game 2gb, but said full. I clear cache and storage, and it worked. This help in 2024. By the game is Summoners War, to clarify I ain't lying.

should have thought of that... needed to install Acrobat Reader on the phone since I'm going on a trip and I need to read something while in the train/hotel, told me I didn't have enough space even though I did, so I uploaded some photos in Google Drive (hard to do in browser without app btw) and deleted them, still not enough, upload/delete some more, still not enough, as I'm uploading some more I start thinking it's a bug and look for solutions, finally allowed me to install though.

OMG it worked! You sir are getting my upvote! I have a TCL TV and it was giving me "insufficient storage space" errors every time i tried to download an app, even after I had downloaded apps 10x the size of the one i wanted to download. THE END OF THIS VIDEO SOLVED THE PROBLEM! Removing the updates to Google Play Store, running Google Play Store from factoring settings, and now I can download the apps I want. Thank you!

I deleted Play Store's data but that didn't help. My solution is to insert an SD card and move the Google Play Services app to it, rather than the System Space. Because I have only 2GB internal storage, it thinks I'm low on storage while I actually have 0 apps installed additionally.
