idk i think it’s just me or something but this new update might have something to do w it. recently i haven’t been receiving texts from my bf and my phone doesn’t notify me when i do and so i end up answering late. i don’t have dnd on, my notifications are on and even my ringer, but i still don’t even receive anything. it’s only until i check the msg app that i see he sent a msg ugh

Did you check to see if the “Do Not Disturb” is on for that one person? Click on messages, make sure you’re on the main screen and not the text screen of that person, swipe left, click the notification bell, and make sure there’s no moon next to the person’s name. Should work after that...

There’s one more thing. When you click on a text message and press “i” on the contact to access info you might want to check if “hide alerts” is turned on.

On the screen that has all your messages, you may notice a bell at the side of the conversation this means the alerts are off. Press and hold on the conversation without clicking in there should be an option to show alerts.
