Just a tip, if you hold down a message and don't see speak, you have to go into settings, Accessibility, Spoken Content, and enable Speak Selection.

Two features I have on my Samsung that I would love to see on iMessage is: Message categories & Message scheduling. I can access multiple chats by organizing them in a specific category which is a game-changer. For example "Personal Training Clients" "Group training clients" "Nutrition clients" etc, I know a CRM would probably be better but Samsung has managed to make communicating with my clients almost effortless with these two features. Any tips on how to recreate these features on iOS?

You can easily schedule a message through shortcuts though

You can do that on iMessage you just would haft to make a shortcut in the shortcut app. You can set it up so on birthday of contacts you can send a message without having to worry about it

Yeah, I’m not sure about scheduling messages, but the first part just sounds like a regular group chat, 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️😂 and you can ABSOLUTELY do group chats on iPhones. My siblings and I have a group chat on our iphones

@@diamondPolee Categorizing chats are like hallways to separate rooms, it's not a group chat, like a conversation with multiple people but separate conversations in one section. This works wonders when you want to separate messages from family, friends, clients, potential clients etc. I don't like my messages jumbled up all together.

Hayleigh your “tip” for iMessage when sending pictures to hide the location is SO wrong. What if we want to remember where our photos are taken? If you don’t want the recipient to know, it’s far easier to tap options just after you tap share. Before you send the picture you can choose to remove the location for that picture for that recipient. Turning off the location from the camera setting turns geo location off completely.

I just made the plunge with my 1st iPhone, 12Pro Max about a year & a half ago & I'm just now learning all of the amazing advanced features of this phone that have been there all along. Unfortunately, most of my closest contacts are still on android & I found out the hard way that these amazing text animations don't translate to android phones. I had to do a screen capture video to show my friend how it looks on my phone.🙉

I also found another secret: go to settings and go to acsisabitally then go to display & text size then go to color filters and turn color filters on and then chose the color you want then bam 💥 your Home Screen looks much cooler

RE: the camera privacy - I like to have location on for my photos. There is a workaround to preserve privacy and maintain the location services in your photos. If you tap the camera icon in iMessage while in a text - you can take a photo from within iMessage and the location data is not sent. However when you take normal photos through the camera app the location is saved.

One thing I’ve learned, that I wish I knew before, Is that if you long press the space button, you can move the cursor and toggle over to any word in the middle and change it if you made a spelling error or something like that. Because before, I would have to click on a word and then erase the whole thing because doing it the manual way, it won’t go to the middle of the word, not the beginning or end and that means you would have to erase the whole word even if it just want to switch one letter in the middle. I hope you guys get what I mean. Idk if I’m explaining it right. You can move the cursor to any spot in a word instead of it just only being able to click on the end or beginning of a word.

I noticed that you had "send as text message" turned off. If you turn that ON, when iMessage isn't available or its down, or your friend is in a LOC (vacation) where they have data turned off, if will TRY to send as iMessage, but if it won't go thru, it will send it as a normal everyday text as a back up way of sending and you will Know that it went as a normal message because it will turn that bubble Green.

I was excited about Lingo Jam but it has ads, you have to scroll through a bunch of annoying fonts to find maybe 3 cool ones, and it just crashed my web app, causing me to lose all open tabs. I found some of the other tips from this video helpful though, thank you.

Thank you for your wonderful video. The Bubble or Screen message effects only appear at my recipients iPhone AFTER clicking the prompt which says Replay Love or Replay Confetti etc. etc. In short, the text message opens up normally without any effects. Is there a setting I have gotten wrong?

It's July in the year 2022. I'm searching online "can I save iMessages as drafts" and I'm not seeing any answers. iPhone is the ONLY "smart' phone ever that cannot save text messages so that the user can come back to it after being interrupted. Obviously there's a reason for this. Apple will never explain the reason
