In the movie they explain this Felix inherited his magic hammer from his father, so there definitely was one. I don't know if Ralph was also the bad guy for that but I believe the arcade it takes place in doesn't have a copy

That also means he must have had a arch nemesis before which means could be Ralph's father Ralph Sr or Wreck it Ralph Sr and that also means he is Fix It Felix Sr. In the beginning of the movie it said 30 years ago which means the Ralph you saw in the beginning was a Senior and the Ralph you saw after the beginning is a Junior which means both their fathers were enemies until they died or disappeared when their sons came to exist and took their places as the new ones! So technically Ralph and Felix are 30 years old and they were born or created by their fathers 30 years ago! It may prove that Video game characters do have parents depending on when times really go by!
