Cutscenes from 1980s arcade games were generally pretty stiff in terms of animation and didn't have that much length to it. This comment cleared up a lot about wether this is real or not. The actual gameplay has 1980s Namco written all over it. After Pacman they were just experimenting with random mechanics just to see what stuck. A game that is similar to those window cleaning Flash games could have been a genuine thing. Btw i had this random thought yesterday but there were a lot of games based around 2D parking and window cleaning. I can't imagine these types of games coming back because it's such a 2000s thing

But if you had a magic hammer from your father, how hard can it be? Anyway, when Felix does a good job, he gets a medal. But are there medals for guys who wreck things really well? To that, I say, "Ha! And no, there aren't." Thirty years I've been doing this, and I have seen games come and go. Kinda sad. I think of all those guys from Asteroids, boom, gone. Centipede? Who knows where that guy is. And I gotta tell you, I'm very lucky. It's just, I got to say, it becomes kinda hard to love your job when no one seems to love you for doing it. I don't know, maybe I wouldn't feel this way if things were different after work. But it is what it is, Felix and the Nicelanders go hang out in their homes, which he's already fixed. They go to their homes, I go to mine, which happens to be: a dump. And when I say "dump", I don't mean an ordinary dump where the garbage goes. I mean an actual dump. A dark, shadowy place with bricks and smashed building parts, that's. That's, that's what I call home. I can't bellyache too much, I got my bricks and I got my stump. It looks uncomfortable, but it's actually fine. I'm good. I mean, if I'm really honest with myself. I see Felix up there, everybody patting him on the back, people giving him pie, thanking him for doing a great job, so happy to see him. Sometimes I think, "Man, it sure must be nice being a good guy."

I showed no sympathy to Felix as he dug through the dump desperately searching for Ralph, just hours after shaming him. Sick of that Disney crap they do sometimes. Where it’s “Hey significant person! We hate you so much! You suck! Go away! Nobody likes you! Your presence annoys us! Go away go away go away!” So the significant person does EXACTLY what he was told, then MINUTES later the entire world falls apart. Happened in Wreck-it-Ralph, happened in Frozen.

Okay, yeh this is an accurate representation of what the game was about in universe.. But it would be funny if it was actually added some few things from after the movie ended.. Like the further you go you see q-bert and the gang helping Ralph, he would be less agresive and would actually smile, letting his friend do a little of his job.. Q-bert would just jump around, not damaging anything.. But if he hops on you, you die.. So you must avoid him while avoiding raph.. There would be another who would jump around not doing damage to you, but yes damaging the already repair windows.. And the explosive guy would only target the nicelanders who give you pie.. Making them fly off screen and nit giving you the pie

If I was Gene I would be a dick at Ralph like he was in the movie, let me explain (lord help me): Let’s say if the cutscene of Ralph throwing Gene out was in every level of the game which is 39 levels according to this game, and let’s say Litwak’s Arcade worked a 12 hour time window, Gene would have been thrown out at least 468 times in A DAY! In a week, that’s 3,276 at minimum. In a month, thats 13,104 at minimum. For a year, that’s 157,248. And according to the movie, they’ve been doing this for 30 YEARS! Which adds up to 4,717,440 times or greater than that when Ralph threw Gene out the window!

I really appreciate the effort, but in 39 freaking levels and you couldn't think of anything better than ducks and bricks? How about Ralph losing his mind and launching entire walls that needs more time to fix?, how about a troll that gives you a fake pie and felix become slower? How about villagers falling down the window and Felix need to rescue them or he looses the level? If you don't add variety and difficulty through the levels it will just be boring
