Fix leaking LG front loader washer

My LG washer machine started leaking somewhere from the bottom. In this I try to find the leak to see if its something I can fix.

Thank you so much for this video! My washer was leaking really badly from underneath. I assumed the problem was somewhere on the bottom until I watched your video. Turns out I had the same problem, except mine was the cold water side. Water was bubbling out of it. This video showed me I could do the repair myself. Had it fixed in a day for 30 bucks.

Wow I have a LG front lorder that I think is leaking the cold water side.i brought a piece for 30.buck but a friend what to charge me 150 too put in on.should I let him do it.i know nothing about how to fix things like this

Hmmm I can't make that decision for you. You have to do what you think is best for you but I would never charge my friends to do something like this, but that's just me.

Just found my LG leaking from the back and nothing on the outside that would indicate any hose on the outside. This video gave me a great place to start looking. Thanks for the video.

I had a DE code (door error code) come up on my LG washer. Got on KZbin, followed their advice, got the part on Amazon, replaced it, and problem solved! Had a water leak for awhile now, so after the success of the DE code issue, I am once again going to KZbin for ideas. I will be following your video advice, wish me luck! Thanks

Thanks...I have the same washer and it just started leaking on the cold side. I turned off the cold tap and the next morning no leaks, but when I turned it back on...leaks

Thanks for the video. How old was this machine when the leak started? My LG washer is leaking and it’s only a few months old…

We got it in 2011, it started leaking in 2022, so 11 years later and the warranty was only for 10 years. If you purchase yours new it should be under warranty still. Suck that it's having issues already though.

I had the same issue with mine. Terrible and designed to fail over and over. Too bad all these front loaders are built with the same internal parts from the same Chinese supplier. Absolute junk.
