I wanted to move to a different computer so i just took the ssd out of my old one into my new one, everything now works perfectlly fine instead of the touchscreen, is there a way to manually install the hid compliant touch screen driver on this new pc?

I do not have the tablet settings in my Control Panel and dop not show the HID Touchscreen in my device manager so I am unable to uninstall / disable it nor calibrate it. Windows update removed the touchscreen from my Flex 5 months ago and this happened before on my other Lenovo laptop during another Windows update so none of the suggestions here work since Windows does not see it. I do have an "HID Compliant Vendor Defined Device" and also a "WACOM Device" but uninstalling these and updating changed nothing.

I bought flex 5 6 months back and for 15 days the screentouch is not working until i enable and disable the wacom Device in device manager... After enabling it successfully it is not working in tablet mode... Already reset the laptop but nothing makes it better Please reply what can i do

Hello. Can you suggest what to do if the touchscreen driver is working, but the screen is unresponsive to the touch? Have reset the OS to Win 10, and there's no physical damage, but the screen still doesn't respond.

@@ashwaryasengupta_1029 The display is fine. My feeling is that the touch sensor is dead, and that needs to be replaced, not the entire screen. General observation, computer service centre employees, at least where I stay, have a tendency to immediately proclaim that an expensive part needs replacing, without even bothering to check properly. Will let you know if I find anything. In the meantime, am using it like a conventional laptop.
