Hi I have High Sierra. I downlaoded Mojave. Can I do an upgrade and keep my old docs, user files, itunes downloads or do I need to do a Clean install??? what do you recommend. thank you

Of course, you can upgrade only without losing your data. But don't ever to format your macOS partition when you want to install and upgrade to Mojave.

You can try to use the date,month,year settings on this video tutorial too.. if still failed, try to use another date, month under september and year at 2019.

You just need to turn off wifi, and then manally change the time, like May 2019. The installation will go fine. I was following the procedure in the video, and got the same thing like you.

Velkayne of Lorvaesch Nojaeiro I had real struggles, because all my other Mac devices have remembered WiFi so my WiFi always automatically connects upon restarts. I then had to forget all the existing network, then it worked ;)
