THANK YOU SO MUCH! Did a complete reinstall of Windows 10 on a '14 x99 platform system with an i7. ASUS and INTEL'S websites were NO HELP with this. This download had the x99 chipset listed as applicable. It fixed the "Base System Device" missing drivers.

thank you bro, i have been crashing consistently (bsod) even after reinstalling windows 3 times, ended up going to my device manager to see this symbol on it and found this video. the yellow symbol is gone so i hope this solved my problems 🙏

This basically relates to the chipset device of the motherboard. Chipset device has a connectivity with display driver. Therefore, a missing base system device driver can lead to Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error unexpectedly.
