Fix my Propane Tank, there is no pressure.

I am very sorry if I make mistake on naming the parts. the correct part name is regulator

17 videos later, I found your video . and one other who showed this easy fix .. hopefully this will fix my problem , I already switched to a different tank so I know my equipment works .

No, just no. Here's the deal...that little set screw has one purpose: Its a bleeder valve for checking the liquid level in the tank and for expelling excess fuel. That's it. Low flow issues happen when you open the valve too quickly and it activates a safety feature in the valve that cuts off supply. About 95% of the time, this is the reason. You have to reset the float valve by banging the tank (butt first) on the ground. BBQ's may also take some time to allow air to purge out of the line and light the burners. You may have to wait several minutes for this. A failing regulator can also do this. If you mess with that bleeder, make darn sure there are ZERO nearby ignition sources or you're gonna have a very bad day.

I had it happen yesterday, a brand new exchange tank was being stingy and not letting gas out. After a bit, I decided to spray cold water on it, worked fine afterwards!

thanks for helping me fix my low flow, when I was just a young man living at home with my Parents and Brother and Sister, can I suggest that you drill some dirt out from about 4 points around your apple tree I did it about 30cm from the tree, I used a 3/4 inch auger bit in my hand brace and bit, and just poured some fertilizer into the holes watered them once then got distracted and forgot about it, the tree had been very slow growing, suddenly it double in size in one year then it tripled in the next year, and so on, I don't remember what kind of fertilizer I used, but for you what ever is good for apples, my tree grew to be a magnificent shade tree for my parents, when they passed on, we sold the house and the new young owners cut down our beautiful tree, so they could mow their grass?

In my case the no pressure problem was the spring valve inside the valve! The one that releases the gas when you connect the grill gas hose!

Better than wasting your expensive propane, disconnect tank let it sit for 1 minute pick it up 6 inches and drop it straight down 3 times. Let sit one minute, fixed. 🤔😁

In case Po's tip doesn't work, heres a couple of tips for most newer manifolds that may help: 1. the problem is possibly due to a Low-flow safety value...not the tank. See video "Low Flow - The Full Story" by OntarioGasBBQ" for an excellent explanation and simple solution. 2. It may be that the manifold is frozen from the propane. See video "How To Fix A Propane Regulator With Little To No Pressure Output Propane Grill Won't Light" by Outdoors With Jeff.

opening the bleeder screw does nothing for this. the valve has a safety in it if you open to fast it will close. to solve this then close valve wait a minute then open the valve SLOWLY. it will work fine.
