Just in case you guys didnt know (because i didnt) if you cant hear your voice in a friends broadcast while you're in a party together, go into your party setting & change "Share your voice" to allow. I know its basic asf, but no video showed me it & i had no clue it was a party setting. Hope that helps, cheers

Soo, i doubled checked & i had that on, but i mean the settings inside of your actual party chat, so when youre in a party chat you go inside of the settings to switch it. I thought i didnt see it haha, but have a look, all my ps5 mates couldn't be heard on my ps4 mates stream until i switched it 😅

Ah, I see what you mean. Yes if you have a priveate party you will need to check that option off as well. It's crazy how many locations they hide all these options

Sony should have put more emphasis on that mute option. Ps5 is cool but I feel sometimes you have to go through an obstacle course for something that should be simple. Anyway thanks again. Think I may have a fix there's a setting in group that allows you to share your audio with others. It's on top of the two methods that you have to turn on . If your friends allow their audio to be shared.then they will be heard as well . Going to try tonight.

I don't even have "include mic audio" option in settings-captures and broadcasts-audio. Only option is "include party audio". I don't have a camera yet though I was trying to stream using only my voice for now.

Actually, most times when your party chat isn't coming through, it's the other players w/ their "voice" to stream turned OFF.....Both sides have to have it on for it to work properly....FYI

It is now May 2022 and for the first time I just tried streaming to KZbin and I have not gotten my mic to broadcast at all. But th egame audio works. I went into settings and the dualsewnse mic is set as the source and I clicked the unmute button.

There's a setting in the group that allows your audio to be shared each player has to enable I think going to test it tonight I have the same issue.

So you have to have both settings on unmute mic in order to be heard. That's a little tedious, and I've only been having this problem on PS5. Never had an issue for PS4. My only question is, do you have to double-check for both options again if you mute and then unmute your mic?
