Nice work my friend! You go through it so quickly which I love. In the end your tips didn't fix my problem - but I paused the video and checked your keyboard settings and I saw under Ease of Access I had ticked 'Allow shortcut key to start sticky keys' but you had not. So I unticked it - and my problem was solved!

Found my way to it by using search. Definitely works way better now. The R letter is still giving me problems, though. When I enabled the Filter Keys, I could not type at all, so I disabled it again. Doing all this definitely improved my keyboard functionality substantially. The only stubborn one is now R, but at least it works after tapping on it twice. Thank you! Thought I had to buy a new laptop.

Under Ease of Access > Keyboard I had ticked 'Allow shortcut key to start sticky keys' and this gave me problems. So I unticked it - and my problem was solved. Other potential issues: software updates required, dirt stuck in the keys. Might be worth getting a bluetooth keyboard in the meantime.

Oh my gosh! I think you helped! When I went on the Task Scheduler app, the TextServices Framework was disabled, so I clicked on it to say "enabled" and my keyboard seems to be fixed now! Thank you! Okay it worked for a while. Now it's not working. What do I do now?

2wsx and caps lock keys are the ones that always all of a sudden dont work when im using my laptop and many people seem to have the same issue for those same keys as me and it absolutely frustrates me so much everytime it doesnt work cuz sometimes it works and then sometimes it doesnt especially when im playing games cuz of w s key or if i need my laptop for school the only thing that works for me if its not working again is to either spam the keys that arent working at the same time or just wait for it to work again or just hold down on the key that isnt working

The update keyboard driver fixed mine, although I had 5 keyboards listed and I updated them all. The problem keys work now but sometimes take a little more force to make them work.

The first test people should do is try to access the bios. If you can access the bios and move around using the keyboard, then the issue is most likely a windows driver issue. I have a laptop where the keyboard doesnt work. I cant access the bios using they keyboard. Plugging in a USB keyboard works fine though, so it seems I have a hardware issue.
