So much better! I just installed this on my XX1 derailleur and it's finally shifting perfectly

I thought I was crazy having this problem. Last night I machined about .6mm off the bushing sleeve to allow me to tighten up the slop....if I'd seen this earlier I would have went this route. I like the wave washer idea to allow a little room for error and maintain a constant pressure. My hack seems perfect for now, but I know where to come if issues arise.

does it work on a mechanical sram gx

No, the mounting bolt on GX is different. It has 12mm diameter as opposed to the 10mm diameter of the X01 and XX1 Eagle derailleurs.

@@GregoireLEMAIRE_you can install an sram xx1 bolt kit on mechanical GX. It’s a big improvement.
