Wukongs performance is so weird to me. My fps is capped and is always at a stable 60 CPU never gets past 50% usage Ram is always below 90% usage GPU at the most gets to 70% usage And yet, i get these f*cking stutters and even audio stutters. When these larger stutters happen, the GPU usage goes down to below 5%, which i assume makes sense. Edit: The game was installed on a HDD, so i reinstalled Wukong on a SSD and these stutter problems decreased by a lot!

It's a problem with the game itself best bet is probably just waiting for a bug fix

make sure its downloaded to an ssd ue5 is heavily cpu intensive so that can help a lot

your % looks like you cpu bottlenecked, if ram near 90% its a problem too, cpu + ram = stutters

Same. I could run elden ring max graphics or rdr2 high graphics with smooth fps no stutter. Idk why only this game work different.

This is placebo and this "fix" comes around every time a new Unreal Engine game comes aroubd. The Stutter is from the engine. You cannot do anything about that.

still doesnt work for me....kinda frustrating about this game, i push myself playing this game with stuttering and feezing...the game running smooth 60-80fps (very high mix medium) but freezing overtime when encounter enemies....i tested to set low the game running over 100fps but still the same freezing and stuttering

its because you game is in hdd and bec you hdd is very slow in processing thats why the game is stuttering i too face the same problem so better to install the game in ssd

This is not needed anymore as we already have Game Mode enabled and it does the same thing by prioritizing the heavy application that running over anything else including your Steam launcher or Discord whatsoever. 🤷‍♀

My game was stuttering bad from the very start of the game till about chapter 4 until I went into the control panel and turned on triple buffering, stopped the aggressive stutter

For me freesync paired with vsync did the job. All stutters eliminated completely, smooth as butter at 72 constant fps with high/very high mixed settings, fg on and even fsr set at 100%. Using rx6600 paired with i510400f.

Thank you for making this, at the very least, playable!! I’ve been waiting to play this, pre-downloaded prior to grueling travel. Got to where I’m staying just to have crap internet so another day of disk upload. Sat down to play after work and just stutter city. Completely unplayable. This made the game at least that. I still have some stutter and glitch but it is not nearly as bad as it was and is manageable. I would like it to be smooth though so, if you have other tips, please post them!! Sounds like it’s time for an upgrade for me.

I think the developers just suck at making a performing game without a nasa pc. It says I should run it on high but I can't even run it on low even though I meet the requirements. Mod didn't do jack shit. Embarrassing to put out such a terribly performing game.

Will try today to fix the fps drop from 60 (dlss mode) to below 10 in boss fights or run around sometimes...I get it with others modes from in game settings 2, hope will work and can play again the game (10hours in), installed mode dlss and its drop below 10 fps (unplayable) sometimes at random in open world or boss fights... Steam Deck played

same here but only in some places, nothing with the amount on the screen feels like there something up with loading.. like u are between 2 areas and it dont know what area to load.

@@jeremiahbradshaw4023 For me, my SSD is my disk C (120gb) and my HDD is my disk D (1TB), so there's that, check your system to see if you can install it on the ssd , it'll run better for sure.
