I`l be looking forward to this Gav, Karen and i have a Sevylor canoe, which we did`nt get the chance to use on the Broads last September, so it will be good to know how it performs and what you think of it.

@@lovelifeloveboat I wish i coukld Gav, but unfortunately, time is very much taken up with general life. We have some lovely stretches of rivers down here in Dorset, but we have`nt even had time, or the weather to try it out down here. We`ll be back aboard Lightning for a week from Sat 22nd October, and will be seeing if John and Mary Jane will be available for lunch in the Eagle, then probably book a mooring and a table at the Ferry House for the night, be nice if you could make it?.

@@lovelifeloveboat Do you mean the Beccles wooden boat show?. If so, no, it`s a long drive for a couple of nights, plus we`d need to find accomodation. We`re off to Lincolnshire for a week in 2 weeks time, taking Karens mum and dad too. While we`re there, i`m hoping to do BSB at Cadwell park, then LAHC and see how Jane is coming along, i may book another taxi ride in her before she`s taken out of service for her restoration. Then we`re back on Lightning from 22nd of October for 8 days.
