Whats the point of my blocks without the run without screen refresh option on?

it's more for just safety incase you place it in a infinite loop or somethin

@@Pwnz0rServer2009 Exactly! Turning on the "run without screen refresh" makes it so everything in the my block run in 1 frame. And if you have say, a forever loop (something that never ends), it's going to cause a lot of lag. And as for why you would want to use my blocks that way, I like to have clones for buttons, so I have a my block that has all of the button code, so I can reuse it for every button clone! Hope this clears it up :)

Scratch is probably the goofiest program to learn and program 💀only kids use that Stuff like blender or steam are actually diffucult however its better

Blender is a 3D (or 2D) animation/rendering program, and Steam is a place to publish/find games. They are not programming languages.

Mistake 1. Using scratch

Scratch is very simple and easy to use, while also allowing people to create complicated and amazing projects! Scratch is slower (by quite a bit) compared other languages, but if you're using Scratch, speed probably isn't a huge concern.

​@@SPARTonScratch I mean, it takes away so much features. It's also just a javascript container, not it's own language. It's just javascript, but visual and so much less features. It lacks: 1. Bitwise operations 2. Many math functions 3. ASCII system 4. Secure random number generator 5. Cryptography API 6. Network requests (You can't even make an API request!) 7. Arrays (Literally the most basic and neccesary thing in programming) 8. Accurate calculations 9. Animations Garbage.

@@bitonic589what do you mean by animations, people animate on it all the time. But yeah it is missing quite a bit, you have to code that all yourself in a custom block.

@@GG7311_YT It doesn't have keyframes, doesn't even have GIFs. Only way to animate is using a bunch of sprites and the glide element.

@@bitonic589 There are frames (called costumes) within sprites that let you use gifs, one example is walking and jumping in a platformer. I’m making an Undertale animation that has the characters walking. I’m pretty sure someone even recorded a scene from a cartoon and just put it in scratch.
