I wonder if what you've done might help with my situation? My wife's car has been acting up. She is consistent in getting oil changes and annual services. But, they don't know what this issue is. I drive it on occasion. It accelerates just fine. But, once you get to speed and just barely put your foot on the gas, it will "sputter" or kind of lurch/stall and go. If I were to gun it, no problem it's more when you slightly coast, if that makes sense. Another thing that might be related is when she starts the car. She has a new battery, but the car won't always turn over. Sometimes, it makes a couple of clicks, then nothing. Go back and forth with turning to start, then back to off. Eventually, it will start right up. I think both of these issues might be connected. Something in the fuel line? Any ideas would be appreciated. We don't have a lot of money to fork out, so we don't want to fix one thing, and then that not do the job.

First, on the pedal kicking, in my case when you push the pedal slowly the car will go.. But when you kick down the pedal it starts to hesitating, that issue was fixed by cleaning the maf sensor like I did in the video For your second issue, i guess its just the connector to the battery is loose, try to tighten it up first, if the problem continues, try to check the cable below the fuses, maybe the cable from battery start going loose too..

it could be burned out forward clutches, a clogged intake, a bad serpentine belt, or a bad alternator

I have similar problem with engine 2zr-fae, but I have not able to fix hesitation. The hesitation happens randomly, mainly after long low rpm drives, engine is hesitating to gain fast revolutions at 3000 - 4000rpm, but when vvti takes over rpm’s are gained normally Both exhaust sensors replaced Maf and throttle body cleaned Spark plugs changed Filter in fuel pump changed Fuel cap changed Evap valve changed Crankcase valve changed Engine running better with every change but not fixing the main issue, what can be wrong?

i think it it something with camshaft. maybe the normal cam before vvti activated already worn. if not, the timing might be an issue too. also check the movement of the throttle body by turn on the key ( dont start the engine ) disassembly the filter box and see if the throttle body open correctly as you press the gas pedal !

Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. A company called "CRC" makes the most widely known. Check for videos on KZbin for cleaning this part. If done wrongly it will damage the MAF Sensor and you'll have to purchase a new one. A few sprays on its sensor and let it set outside for about 15 minutes to allow the sensor spray to dissipate before reinstall and reattach the MAF. Good luck.

@@nianparpaduan7692 ok the car sometimes when it is on the sun for a while por example in the afternoon when I get off work that is when I have the problem most,in the morning early it just run perfect.it starts fine,no rough idle,the problem is that I accelerate it and don’t run like it should be,I have to press the pedal all the way down in order to move.it can get 45 miles o more with the pedal down and a seconds later when I stop on a traffic light it starts working fine and the acceleration is perfect like nothing has happened.it makes that every two o three days in the afternoon when I ride it ok the way back home from work and the sun is really hard and the car is very hot inside

@@juliorives6107 Did the temperature gauge on the dashboard goes up more than half? If yes, you might have overheating problem.. If not, then its likely the MAF sensor is giving wrong signal when the air outside is very hot, try to replacing the MAF sensor first.. Its may have started failing

Please be very very gentle if you cotton bud, the two resistors inside are very delicately mounted. Best to just spray with CRC air mass sensor cleaner and leave dry. Lebih baik jangan guna cotton bud. Benda halus didalam senang patah. Sembur dgn spray pembersih saja.

In my case, it was make such a rock like lumps in the resistor.. So the mass sensor cleaner wont work.

I had the same issue with camry. The timing belt was loose. It had broken hoses and one cylinder had low pressure (125). These are good cars but unfortunately lots of parts brake at the same time.
