Thank you so much for your video! I have 2011 sienna with AC blowing warm air. I tried new condenser and didn’t fix the problem. I was just about to install a whole new compressor and saw your video so I ordered the valve for $50 from ebay. Now the AC is back to freezing cold temperature! Thanks so much! Subscribed!

Just had exactly the same issue! The AC was blowing cool (but not cold air) and the pressure was showing high on both (low and high). I've tried to re-charge - no luck, so I followed this video and replaced this refrigerant control valve and WOW!!! Blows super cold now and I'm happy I didn't have to pay $1500 to replace an AC compressor. It took me about 1.5 hours total time to do it on my driveway (mainly due to many tries removing the retention ring, was using a cheap tool too). Thank you! That was it!!!

It’s so cool after replace a control valve! My car is 2013 Sienna, the AC was not cool as it should be. The symptom is low pressure 60-70, high pressure is under 150! For sure AC come back if you change a new valve! I did not vacuum and input 24 oz Freon (it should be 28oz). It’s so cold now! I m in miami. The hard part of job is take the C-ring out, I don’t have a special tool, I used a thin iron wire go through the hole of c-ring to take it out!

Diagnostic Analysis: The most common problem with this particular compressor is usually not a failure of the compressor itself. Instead it may be due to a faulty control valve. Along with cooling loss, common symptoms include air from the vent that is merely fresh or even somewhat warm. Suction pressures will be above normal, anywhere from 45-80psi, while the discharge pressure will remain somewhat normal or below normal.
