thank you so much! this worked for me, the best part is that you cannot remove one payment method without adding another or having one on file. I would also suggest doing this on a laptop the iphone is frustrating and crashes often.

You might have cancelled it but it might still be active until a certain date. After that you should be able to do it (I was able in my case). Is like cancelling your Netflix subscription: while canceled, you can still use it until end of the month as you have been charged for one month.

U must make sure when you subscribe an App u can Un subscribe there n there you can still use the subscription that you already made if it expires then you don't need to pay but if you cancel after it expires there's no way out

Update!! apparently I was owing apple money based on some subscriptions that was pending that’s why I couldn’t update or download any apps I can now update and download apps So if you think you have pending payment that’s maybe the issue, or if you’re in a family plan and they didn’t pay for something that is also one of the cases why you can’t update or download any apps And secondly you will need to update your card information, or change to a card that as sufficient funds in it Hope this helps
